The Aussie police armed with Tasers shivered and shook with fear,
The 95 year old Clare shuffled with her walker likely smiling drew near.

Oh what a threat, she was bringing her dinner knife to her meal,
The Cooma staff were terrified, the police judged the threat of life was deadly and real.

A Cooma nursing home for folk with dementia is for help and care,
not a crime scene for elderly Clare.

At 80 years Clare Nowland had bravely jumped from a plane,
She was a harmless woman out for fun, reasonable and sane.

Kind and compassionate she helped in the home, chatted and talked and walked with a frame.
Yet a dangerous criminal she was judged, to taser her, fair game,

Two shots, to the chest and back, with an electric jolt she was convulsed and shocked,
Down she fell, a fractured skull, a bleeding brain, blood flow blocked.

Now she is dying from the violence and wicked force,
Clare was 95, shot by taser, a victim of crime, stupid and coarse.
