The Preda theatre group presented a 30 minute performance of the “Once I Had a Dream” which shows violence, abuse and exploitation happening to youth. The dramatic presentation captured the attention of the students as it a direct presentation of Child Abuse by some recovered victims of abuse.

PREDA, together with Subic National High School held a seminar, as part of the 18-day campaign to end violence against children and women and promoted the DepEd Child Protection Policy for the student leader and presidents of the Grade 10 and Grade 12 class. This was all part of the the seminar entitled “Boosting Skills of Student Leaders’ for Safe”, Inclusive Schools through Awareness on DEPED’s Child Protection Policy”.

The PREDA Foundation was represented by Ms. Nicole Ann Fernandez, center head at the Preda Victoria Home for Girls and Mr. Christian Robin Albarda, director of the theater group, shares an interactive discussion to approximately 80 students of SNHS about the policy and guidelines on protecting children in school from abuse, violence, exploitation, discrimination, bullying and other forms of abuse as written on the DepEd Order No. 40, s. 2012.
