Lord helps me understand you and your mission, and myself. You are Lord and master, guide and teacher, you humbled yourself and washed the feet of your group, they never understood you. You dedicated your life to serve the poor and you said: ” no greater love is there than to give your life in service to others”
Peter failed you and you scolded him “Get behind, me you are not with me” you said and later Peter understood and you Jesus, called him your Rock, a true leader of your mission. Help me Lord to be as strong as a rock and your follower and friend, for you said, “I call you friends, not servants…, for I came to serve and not be served”
Lord may I be like you and understand and know you as your friend, and never betray you, and dedicate my life to serving and helping the poor as you did, you gave your life for them.
