Putin’s war
Hear the sounds of war, the bombs and missiles shatter lives
See the evil and the chaos, death and destruction plain,
they resist with guns, stingers, javelins, guns and knives.
They suffer and endure with resilience, shock and pain
they are brave and courageous on the frontlines in Ukraine.
Voice the truth that the Putin war is a horror on the world,
Stand with the people, the Ukrainian flag unfurled.
The powers must act with haste, send help without delay,
there are crimes of war committed every night and day.
They bomb the hospitals and the homes, schools are blown apart,
millions flee the violence, unprovoked aggression from the start.
Where will they live with no food, water, shelter, heat and light,
They are shivering in the basements bombarded day and night.
Brave resistance, defending cities and their home,
The soldiers fight for justice to throw Putin from his thrown.
Victory will be theirs, they will survive and bravely overcome,
the courageous will succeed and from the challenge never run.
