The Planet We Must Save

At the opening of the day,
open minds and hearts to the wonder of our life, our planet, the only one we know.
With Flowers and forests, oceans, creatures that
took a billion years to grow.
From the mud fish and the apes they evolved to us the humans with the intellect and the brains,
We use them to kill ourselves and to extinction bring evolution’s mighty gains.
Now the planet earth we overrun with greed and dirty power,
We will leave not a living tree, a butterfly or a flower,
We destroy it with desire to conquer and to kill,
Ourselves and all the creatures until we have our fill.
The youth have stood, demand to
Live and to protect,
Is there any chance the greed will end,
No more the destruction and neglect?
End the silence, save the earth, Stand and fight,
change our daily life, don’t burn the fossil fuel,
end the cowardly flight,
Plant the trees, clean the sea, from wind and sun
geothermal take our electric power,
All creatures will survive, humans too,
With the forests and the flowers.
