Prayer for the Covid Patients
August 5, 2021They are blasting off with rockets spending billions to soar to outer space,
I wonder if they think and care of the suffering of the human race.
Here on earth millions suffer from covid, the agony and the pain,
Lord we need the vaccine and the oxygen, not the wasted flights in vain.
Reach out instead and help the dying with medication and IV drips,
Abandon wasteful expensive fun and useless space bound trips.
Lord where is the caring humanity, the compassion and the care,
The human love that makes life real in a world that is just and fair. AmenAmen.
