Lord may mortal men and women with courage and concern,
stand against the violence and destruction and from their just action we can learn.
In the land where you once walked and taught,
tolerance and the love of justice and the truth,
there is anger and oppression and hatred at the root.
Lord May the violence cease,
Come instead a just solution and a lasting peace.
