Prayer for Good Leadership
Shay CullenThe qualities of a good leader are the qualities of a good person of honesty and integrity Lord.
You gave that example in word, story telling and action.
You saw wrongdoing and corruption and acted to remove the money changers and traders from the house of God, and society.
You were a true leader in fighting for justice and truth.
You stood for the poor, the abused, the downtrodden, and lifted them up and inspired them with compassion and showed love for outcasts.
You invited us and all people to be united in one family where strangers become friends, where enemies reconcile, and peace and justice and equality prevails.
You are the best model of a true leader and stood for truth and you died for your truth and values.
May we be inspired by your example.Amen
