Prayer at the passing of the person I love
Shay CullenWhen sadness descends like a black cloud,
when the one I Love has passed from my side,
when I ask the meaning of life, all to short, passing by flowing like a river and now I ride the boat of destiny believing I am alone.
And then I see the shadow of your presence and know you are by my side a friend in my time of my loss,
and I Dry my eyes and travel on in peace and hope in the strength of true friendship renewed,Amen
