Covid the Deadly Virus
Covid, the curse that engulfs the world, people released it from the wild,
At first they thought that it was weak and mild,
Yet it’s relentless spread, like lightening in a storm,
strikes everyone, the old and newly born.
The people die at the hospital gates, in the vans gasping for precious air,
The Covid spreads with unrelenting fear; it’s more than we can bear.It brings down the young and old in its fiery path,
Like a fireball from heaven it kills with unrelenting wrath,
Where is the help, the politicians with the power, the oxygen to save,
To corruption and to money, each a willing slave.The medics, doctors, nurses, risk their lives, give hope and life,
To end the suffering, ease the pain and end the bitter strife.
With those families with lost parents, brothers, sisters, one and all,
We grieve, and hope vaccines will end the deaths and quench the smokey pall.When will the people everywhere know the danger of his virus cruel?
See and take the vaccine as the only saving tool.
We have to teach, encourage, awake the sleeping minds,
Prevent is to cure, to stop the spread from crossing dangerous lines.Shay Cullen
