A Prayer for Life

To be on fire to serve a greater cause that transcends our humble lives,
where we can bring a touch of peace to a disturbed and broken heart and pour
the healing words of kindness and support, to give comfort,
affirm the goodness in every hurting person, and find that our reservoir
of compassion is refilled and we have more to share, for to serve and help the lonely,
the outcast, seek no reward, just have compassion, true concern is enough to make
our life worth living and to pass contented from this happy life, and rest eternally.
