The corruption of Society challenged by Faith in the Gospel values

Are we not all lepers in front of Jesus?
Yes we are, because of sins we have committed all along our life.
It is reported that leprosy known as “Hansen’s disease’ has afflicted the World for over 4000 years while the leprosy of sins have been afflicting us for millions years since the temptation of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. In the Bible, leprosy involves decomposition, decay, and putrefaction of the flesh.
If AIDS is considered as a modern plague, a social leper of our times is threatening the health and lives of thousand. Yes, the actual World is seriously afflicted by a more important leprosy which is CORRUPTION, a materialistic illness creating the decomposition, the decay and the putrefaction of the mind of our society as a whole. This type of ongoing leprosy is a visible progression toward physical corruption which represents the profound decline of our moral values.
There is no doubt that material things are the prime preoccupation of our daily life while spiritual matters are neglected if not totally ignored..
How can we stay away from being lepers? FAITH is certainly the right answer.
As Saint Bruno de Segni (1047-1123) said:
