Hands around the world
Arms around each other
Singing dancing full of glee
That’s how we should be
For we are the people of tomorrow
But the children of today
We are only little children
Do not steal our innocence away…
Innocence away

For they are only little children
Do not steal their innocence away
Give them hope and show them love
That’s their right from God above
Poverty and hunger they must fight
So children of the world unite

Feed the children, free the children
From prison bars and filthy cells
From slavery and prostitution
Oh! hear their anguished cries of pain
And do not treat them with disdain
Or fill their hearts with sorrow
For they are the people of tomorrow

Hands around the world
Arms around each other
Singing dancing full of glee
That’s how children should be
For they are only little children
Suffering hurt and pain
Their innocence once stolen
Cannot be returned again

Children of the world unite
Shining like the stars at night
Showering love across the world
Singing dancing magically
Like nymphs in time, carefree
Coming back to where they should be.
