PREDA AT 47 YEARS
Dear Friends and Supporters of Preda,
Preda Foundation in 2021 celebrates the 47th anniversary of its founding in February 1974.
Forty seven years of non-stop service to the people of the Philippines and beyond, helping the vulnerable exploited women and children, working for justice, truth, freedom, goodness, truth, and equality is our mission. We have had many struggles, challenges and difficulties to overcome and with the power of Eternal Love and Goodness, found in the Preda team of motivated leaders integrity and the dedicated social workers and facilitators and staff of Preda Foundation and in you, our friends, friends, supporters and defenders of children and human rights.
We have grown and expanded our work to serve more abused children in five homes in Zambales and Cebu. We continue to help the graduates that have been reintegrated and we continue our strong legal challenges to the abusers of children and have succeeded with the brave and courageous and empowered children to win court convictions of the offenders resulting in long prison terms where the abusers can repent and do penance and get forgiveness.
We and the children are grateful to all of you and the people in the human rights and fair trade movement for the solidarity and sharing that makes this work possible.
