Appeal of Zambales Priests

WE, the Priests of the Diocese of Iba, Zambales having been approached by the following: Ma.
Consuelo Limpat, Gloria Limpat, Cynthia Echles, Corazon Dionido, Merlita Perez
and Violeta Alcantara, all of Olongapo City who spoke at our regular monthly
meeting at Iba, Zambales on February 07, 2000. They have told us that the case
against Victor Fitzgerald has no basis in truth and in fact. That we, the
Priests of the Diocese of Iba, Zambales have many doubts about such case. That
we know that Bishop Deogracias Iniguez also issued an affidavit asking for a
new trial, so we also ask that this case which is now pending for
reconsideration in the Court of Appeals be re-opened and that a new trial be
granted.
