Last December 10 Human Rights Day the German Cultural City of Weimar invited all ten winners of the Human Rights Prize of Weimar to a tenth anniversary celebration and a Human Rights conference. Fr. Shay Cullen, founder and president of Preda Foundation was awarded the Prize in 2001. He presented a paper to the conference on Globalisation and Children. To mark the tenth anniversary a local artist painted a portrait of each of the winners with the image of their inspiration. The Painting shows Mother Theresa and street children with whom Fr. Shay visited in Calcutta and later met in Manila. |
