“So plunders the father, so plunders the son,” said iBalik Ang Bilyones ng Mamamayan (iBBM) spokesperson and primary complainant, Rafaela David. iBBM today filed a complaint/affidavit asking the Ombudsman to investigate the 205 million Pesos in PDAF that Vice Presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. is suspected of funneling to fake NGOs part of the Janet Napoles ring of corruption.
Together with their complaint, iBBM identified 9 Special Allotment Request Orders, or SAROs, that were sourced from Senator Marcos’ PDAF and subsequently funnelled to Napoles NGOs.
“These SAROS constitute part of the Luy files, which show that Marcos, Jr., himself, was directly involved in stealing the people’s money,” added David.

Marcos told the LGU to use a Napoles NGO
Also attached to the complaint was a statement from the Office of Senator Marcos dated August 22, 2014 that admitted that Marcos, “Requested the municipal mayor of General Nakar to tap the services of the Social Development Program for Farmers Foundation, Inc. (SDPFFI).” SDPFFI is one of the bogus NGOs headed by Benhur Luy that made up the Napoles PDAF corruption ring and has been reported by COA to have received the biggest in pork barrel funds among the known 82 Napoles foundations.
“Marcos himself admitted that he instructed the LGU to use a Napoles NGO,” said Marlon Cornelio, also of iBBM. “ Why would Bongbong Marcos give special instructions to deal with SDPFFI, when they had no known address, projects, or reputation to speak of?”
“Marcos’s implication in the Napoles Scam clearly demonstrates that Marcos is not detached from his parents’ legacy of corruption and plunder. Marcos was an accomplice in his family’s crimes during the Martial Law years. He continues that legacy today. The Marcoses are convinced they own the Philippines and they are determined to get it back, by hook and most definitely by crook,” added Cornelio.

Marcos must answer questions about his wealth
“Marcos has always been dismissing the people’s legitimate concerns about his unexplained wealth as mere ‘politics’,” said David. “He still doesn’t understand that the Filipino youth will not sit idly by while he vies for the second highest position in the country. Bastusan talaga. Isipin mo ninakawan ka na nga nila, nakatakas, tapos bumabalik ulit para ubusin young natira sayo.”
