Damien Dempsey, the famous Irish singer and composer, is a strong and consistent supporter of human rights and the rights of children. He has given concerts for Preda and is a supporter of the current “Run for Freedom” to be held at Galway Racecourse on Saturday March 21, 2015. Fr. Shay will be there also  as part of his advocacy speaking tour in Europe.

He is also supporting the Preda-Ireland Freedom photo contest whereby school children all over Ireland sent in their photos saying what freedom means to them.  Damien went to the winning school for a visit last month.
