German State Secretary Meets Father Shay

Parliamentary State Secretary Hans Joachim Fuchtel of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development has a friendly meeting with Father Shay Culle, Founder and President Preda Foundation Inc.
Parliamentary State Secretary Hans Joachim Fuchtel of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development visited Manila last 2014 and met with Foreign Secretary Albert del Rosario and Secretary Arsenio Balisacan of the National Economic Development Authority and Father Shay Cullen, Founder and President of the Preda Foundation Inc.
Preda Foundation had successfully completed a important project in 2013. This is the three apartment buildings for the girls and staff of the Preda Foundation. It was constructed according to plan ahead of schedule and within budget. It is a joint project of Preda, The German Development agency BMZ and Tatort Verne of Cologne.
The center comprises three separate apartment buildings to accommodate the child victims of sexual abuse and human trafficking rescued by Preda social workers. The new facilities give the girls more space and independent living within a community.
The girls home apartments set in beautiful natural surroundings are complete with a therapy and counseling room and all necessary facilities. There are 39 children there at any given time, free, safe form abusers and traffickers and starting a new life.
The State Secretary Hans Fuchtel engaged in a interesting conversation with father Shay and expressed his support and appreciation of the cooperation between Preda and the Economic Cooperation and Development committee of the Parliament. He expressed continued support for the project and wished it every success.
