Victims disapprove of the Justice System

A recent study of 64 child sex abuse victims conducted by the Australian Institute of Criminology has found that 47% of them would not want to go through the legal process again. Their parents felt much the same. Comments from the children indicated a widespread belief that the process was not worth the trauma suffered. The study found that the child victims objected to the long delay of up to three years before cases came to the court.
