The bureau of immigration has arrested another foreign pedophile, this time a Briton, who is also wanted in hid home land for raping his daughter.
Immigration Commissioner Alipio Fernandez, Jr. announced yesterday that Kriss McCord, 57, was arrested on Dec. 7 in Llanerra, Nueva Ecija, by agents from the bureau, the Philippine Center on Transnational Crimes and the police.
PCTC had requested the BI for the foreigner’s arrest. McCord, when collared, was with his Filipino live-in wife.
Fernandez said McCord was the fourth alien fugitive and third child molester to fall into the hands of immigration agents in the past three weeks.
He would be deported to the United Kingdom where he was convicted in November 1999 for three counts of rape and four counts of indecent assault by the Nottingham Crown Court.
He was found guilty of raping his daughter when the latter was between five and 15 years old. McCord was also being investigated for alleged indecent assault against his granddaughter, a case which is still pending in court. [End]
