The Memorial Service for Aileen
Every good and perfect gift is from above
James 1:17
In Loving Memory of
Aileen Mary Brigette Frechette
November 15, 1930 - February 26,
2003
Teach me, O Lord how to live by your laws, and i will obey them to
the end. Help me understand so that i can follow
your teachings.
I will guard them with all my heart.
Lead me
on the path of your commandments, because o am happy with them.
Direct my heart toward your written instructions rather than getting
rich in underhanded ways. Turn my eyes away from worthless things.
Give me a new life in your ways. Keep your promise to me so that i
can fear you.
Take away insults, which I dread, because your
regulations are good.
I long for your principles. Give me a new
life in your righteousness.
Psalm 119: 33-40

Aileen Mary Brigette Frechette
November 15, 1930 - February 26, 2003
Aileen was an altruistic caring individual who dedicated her life to helping others and to her Christian values. raised in a pristine sea-side suburb of Dublin Ireland called Glenageary, she was the oldest of six children a dedicated loving mother of five children.
After Aileen graduated form high school, she entered a convent and was ordained a Roman Catholic Nun. She dedicated the next two years of her life to helping the impoverished. Aileen described in her biography that as a child she "saw the nuns as angles sent by God to help us down on earth."
In time Aileen felt a calling to move on but to continue contributing to society. Maintaining her strong Christian values include her weekly child-rearing column in woman's way magazine, business owner of a hair salon and property management initiatives. As well as these career efforts, Aileen never stopped caring and helping those in need. For example, she volunteered for countless charity organizations such as the WCA, the Paraplegic Association, the Good Samaritan Society, homeless shelters, and numerous church-led charity efforts. Moreover, she founded an Irish woman's support organization that still continues today.
Most of Aileen's volunteerism, however, wass known only to the individuals who she helped and was not facilitated through any organization by through her own altruistic efforts to seek out and help those in need. For instance, she provided food to impoverished Irish families and helped foster self-reliance by teaching them parenting and organization skills. She also helped the homeless by providing them with food, shelter and a means to get help.
Aileen will be remembered for her outstanding efforts and compassion to improve the quality of lives of others as well as being a devoted and loving mother and wife. Her unconditional love will ring through our hearts forever.
