CHILDREN's rights campaigner Fr. Shay Cullen has been cleared of false charges made against him in the Philippines, Barnardos said yesterday.
Dublin-born Fr. Cullen, who has been working in the Philippines for the past 30 years, is currently on a visit home and has been briefing Barnardos on his work there.
He established the Pried Foundation in Olongapo, which is involved in saving victims of child sex abuse from brothels and paedophile rings. It provides shelter, protection and therapy.
