Japanese Women's Group
Dear Secretary Tuquero,
We are members of a Japanese Women's Group who have been making effort to protect abused children. The fact saddens us what a mumber of abused children is increasing in Japan, too. We first started out work by supporting Fr. Shey Cullen of Preda Foundation, in Olongapo. We are very concerned to know the charges filed against Fr. Shay Cullen and the warrant for him arising from these charges.
I earnestly request you to initiate a speedy and just review of the new materilas he ahs submitted exonerationg him from what are clearly false charges by a pedophile ring to file resolution dismissing the charges.
Further, I request you to initiate a just review of the evidence against the boys in the Edmonds case, which is pending at the Department of Justice, so that the necessary therapy for the rehabilitation of these boys can begin. And that urgent protection and therapeutic help is provided to the '7 year old girl' associated with all those charges.
I trust in your personal fairness and the respect for justice which your role calls for to act promptly in this case so that Fr. Cullen's fullest attention can be given once again to the continued protectionof the most vulnerable in our society.
